Though Zadar was originally inhabited by the Illyrians, this narrow peninsula became an important «municipium» and a port for the trading of timber and wine during the Roman rule. The city’s rich heritage is revealed at every step: Roman Forum, St.Donat Church, Cathedral of St. Anastasia (Stošije), Kalelarga Street, City Walls.
In addition to historical sights, urban installations of Sea Organs & Greeting to the Sun became symbols of Zadar and the places for gathering.
